When I spoke with Settie on the phone about her wedding, I knew it was going to be one of my favorites of the year. Settie was not only incredibly calm, cool and so easy to chat with and be around, but her vision for the sweetest Charleston wedding had me excited from the start. Settie described a ceremony under the spanish moss, a reception to follow where guests mingled under the lights enjoying tastes from their favorite food truck, and of course the fact that their fur baby, Stevie, would be an integral part of the day. Settie and Ian are two people who are so thrilled to get married and to be able to celebrate their relationship and their love among their families and friends whom they are extremely close with. The weather was perfect and the tearful ceremony that took place under the giant ‘wedding tree’ in stunning Charleston Landing was one of beauty and ease. Settie and Ian’s guests danced to the music in the ‘grove’ – a stunning lawn surrounding by giant old trees – and noshed on the most delicious pizza while sipping local beers. It was just perfection! And, the neutral florals in the bouquets and the luscious greens that draped the tables were the perfect fit for this stunning setting. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day in Charleston! Congratulations again, Settie and Ian!
